Sightings
I noticed the Nuthatch is back, feeding on the peanuts again. I haven't seen it since early summer. There is only one at the moment, but I did see two at one time.
Also, in the meadows the fungi are starting to come through, so when you pay us a visit see how many you can find in the valley and meadows.
Rhodri is constructing a shelter using wood from our own woodlands, it’s ongoing at the moment as we have to search around for the hazel that is needed. If you look at it closely you will see that no nails have been used, and it is held together with wooden pegs, very clever!! We are hoping to get it finished by the New Year.
If the weather brightens up a bit you still might be lucky to gather some blackberries and of course there are lots of sloes for that Christmas Gin! The containers are up in the first meadow at the top of the Valley – Happy Picking!
