Nature Trail
Winding through the secret valley that lies beyond the Nant y Coy waterwheel, you will find the peace and tranquillity we all long for.

Stop and listen to the music of nature, as you first enjoy the melody of the stream and cascade, walk on and up through specially conserved woodland, into the wild meadows and note how the sounds change.
There are resting places for you to enjoy along the way and nature notes that encourage you to look and listen.

Poke around in our Bug Hotel and spot the bank where the Badgers live. See the Bat boxes high in the trees and imagine their acrobatics in the twilight.
The walk leaves the meadows and gains the footpath for the Great Treffgarne Rock. Here you will find an ancient stone age fort, before retracing your steps to the lane leading back to the Mill.
Come in all seasons and note the changes.
We ask for a small donation towards the upkeep and development of this area of Special Scientific Interest, payable at Reception.
